At Lightning Orthodontics, we take pride in having a team that's not only highly skilled but also deeply passionate about making a difference. Leading our team is Dr. Isis El Ghannam, known as Dr. G. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic, Dr. G provides exceptional orthodontic expertise to a diverse patient community. 

Dr. G's educational journey is impressive. She graduated with honors from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana in 2012, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She continued her specialty training in orthodontics, completing her certification in 2015. Her education didn’t stop there — she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Miami in 2019, where she served as chief resident, and an Orthodontics Specialty Residency at the Jacksonville University in 2022.

Board-certified and recognized by her peers, Dr. G is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. She is among the 61% of orthodontists in the U.S. who have achieved board certification.

Dr. G is especially drawn to challenging cases — she finds them rewarding as they make a significant impact on her patients' lives. Outside of the office, Dr. G loves hiking, biking, and exploring national parks. Her recent entry into motherhood has deepened her empathy and enriched her interactions with families.

Now living in Tampa, Dr. G is eager to continue crafting beautiful smiles and ensuring bright futures for the Lightning Orthodontics community.
